id The fourth retrospective for this year. This time super late on 8th May but its better to be consistent.

Here  goes Retrospective  April 2024

Retrospective gives you the chance to Pause Think and Act.

You can take corrective actions or take a turn or completely change some paths which are no longer needed

What went well

  • 21Days21Tips – Every year The Test Chat community runs a #21Days21Tips. I was able to complete the challenge not in exact 21 days but 23 may be. it felt awesome after completing it

Here is a summary of the tips I created previously from a similar initiative in last few years where you get tips on variety of topics around testing and automation

  • Speed Mentoring – There was an event at office for 45 minutes where you will be mapped to a mentee just for 15 minutes one after the other on a teams call. It was a good experience where I could share my experience with the problems mentees have put forward. Last time I signed up as a mentee and this time as a mentor.

Want to discuss anything feel free to book a session here

Meet up

  • Meetup @ GeeksForGeeks Office – After a very long time attended a meetup which held at Geeksforgeeks office. Got the chance to meet Sahil Puri and many others whom i have known because of their good work. I met the CEO of GeeksforGeeks and discussed things like their challenges in day to day. I did not thought that they are having such a big office and its a very big company. Meetups are helpful in learning many skills. you can read more about it here on linkedin

  • Podcast with Siddharth – I was invited on a channel to share the things i have learned with questions asked related to freshers / job / Microsoft / salary and a variety of topics. The full interview can be seen here

  • Townhall hosting – I never did hosting of any event. This was the first time. The event was happening from 3 locations and i was the host from Noida location. You have to try new things. I was nominated and took the risk and it went well. So keep trying new things

  • Ignite Award – I got ignite award for the good work done at office and it became super special as it came with the name written on it a cute trophy

  • Top mate – Total 5 bookings in this month including 1 from a student in USA who has gone for masters and has experience in Automation / tesiting. Any guidance you need feel free to book a session for a detailed discussion @ Topmate

What did not go well?

  • I did not created any videos or shorts on the channel
  • On this blog for last 4 months only retrospective post I could post
  •  Named some class with keyword like NUnit, etc  and then I was struggling why packages are not getting import. So be careful while naming classes

What’s Ahead

  • Few more video to go in AI Series before it come to conclusion for AI900 – bit.ly/aiandcloud
  • Create notes on GitHub Pages for testing and automation which i created the base page.
  • Try more AI stuff and share with everyone
  • Azure Dev Ops Series will be back soon as well
