Airtel 4G not working on Nexus 5

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Airtel 4G is not working on nexus 5 or and some of the other mobiles in Hyderabad/Delhi and other places in India.

Even if you have selected the settings –> Mobile Networks –> LTE and swapped your SIM with 4G SIM, Is it not showing 4G signals(LTE is not shown but ‘H'(3G)?

What is the reason for this?

Did you get the mobile from the US or any other country? Yes ?

I will talk here specifically about Nexus 5, even the problem is common for many other handsets. There were 2 models designed for Nexus 5 – D820 / D821

But the government has given another band also to the operators for 4G, once they start using those LTE bands in some regions. You may be able to use 4G on your phone.
